How Much Did Greece Cost?

We haven’t posted a cost sheet for a while, but will make sure to post the ones that we missed. Greece marked our last country on the Euro, which we were very excited about! We spent a total of over two weeks in Greece, but the majority of our time was spent was in smaller towns north of Athens which helped with costs. Here is the Greece cost sheet.

We were doing really well until we hit Athens and that’s when the food and drink category went a little bonkers. We met a friend on our first day in Athens who tagged along for the remainder of our time in the city, and naturally that meant we were out eating and drinking much more than we normally would have been. Even with that 3-4 day spending splurge we still came out just under our target of $110/day. We hit a lot of sites in Athens, but they were pretty affordable. The free walking tour is incredible and will only cost a tip. The ancient Acropolis is about $20 and the museum is only about $10.
