Dates Visited - November 2019

Highlights - The tours we took in Sarajevo and Mostar were awesome. The tunnels and abandoned Olympic bobsled track were eerie but definitely worthwhile.

Summary - Self admittedly we did not know much about the history of this area so were not prepared for how powerful and moving it would be to learn from people who actually lived through these difficult times. The combination of beautiful surroundings with constant history lessons being had made this one of our most enjoyable stops on the trip.

Suggestions - Get guided tours especially in Sarajevo. There is so much history and recent history in this city that having a guide will greatly enhance your experience.
