Highlights - Exploring Versailles, staying and living among the locals, and driving in Paris at rush hour.
Summary - Paris was our first trip after New Zealand and obviously a completely different feel. A trip to Paris centers around specific landmarks whereas New Zealand was more wandering. If history interests you and you thrive in stressful environments (lines, getting from place to place in a different language, and just crowds in general) then Paris is perfect. Even you if you don’t like these things, you obviously need to go to one of the greatest cities in the world but just set your expectations accordingly.
Suggestions - Stay in a REAL neighborhood as opposed to some hotel in a touristy area. The most fun we had was just exploring, eating, and drinking in our neighborhood.
Notes - This trip was prior to our RTW trip so you will find a different style of blog.
