Highlights - Just hanging out and cafe/bar hopping in Luang Prabang is enjoyable. Our first zip line experience in Nong Khiaw was super fun and great day hikes there as well.
Summary - It’s a hard to reach country and can be expensive to get there but don’t let that deter you. It’s a beautiful country that still feels as though it’s undiscovered by the masses. If you are an outdoor enthusiast then there are plenty of opportunities here as well.
Suggestions - Make your way up to Nong Khiaw and try and stay a couple of nights. The hiking is phenomenal and there are a bunch of other outdoor activities that are sold at pretty much every shop. We heard from other travelers that the capital, Vientiane is just ok so take that for what it’s worth.
