Dates Visited - September 2019 in the High Tatras. October 2019 in Bratislava.
Highlights - Hiking in the Tatras was awesome. There are hikes to keep you busy for days.
Summary - Our time in Slovakia was spent in the mountains (Tatras) and also in the city (Bratislava). We hiked every single day in the mountains and barely got out of our place in Bratislava (Caitlin’s foot) so quite different experiences.
Suggestions - Zakopane is nice but much more expensive because it’s like a mountain town. Stay in another town and you will still be close to all trails. I think renting a car is a must.
Bratislava is hopefully one of our last stops with the Euro! See how we did in Bratislava for 3-4 days.
We had a very low key and lazy visit to Bratislava because Caitlin wasn’t too mobile with a foot injury. We did make it out a couple of days so take a look at where we went!
We spent a week in the High Tatra Mountains which makes up the border between Poland and Slovakia.
We spent a week in the High Tatra mountains which is on the Poland and Slovakia border. See how spending went for this leg of our journey.
Rarely can you get claustrophobic by just going to the bathroom but I came darn close in this latest toilet review.
