Dates Visited - December 2019

Highlights - The fortress in Kotor and the view from top is second to none. Checking out Sveti Stefan was awesome and then the long walk back to Budva was also a highlight for us.

Summary - If you want views than it doesn’t get much better than Croatia and then just a short jump down to Montenegro. We absolutely loved our time in Montenegro and just get commenting how weird it was that no one was there visiting because of “winter”.

Suggestions - You can knock this country out in a week or less so it doesn’t require much time on your part to see a very beautiful country. Apparently the crowds from cruise ships is almost unbearable in Kotor during the summer months. That shouldn’t deter you but going in the winter was incredible. It was still close to 60 degrees so the hiking was incredible and you count the number of people on the paths with one hand.
