Highlights - Where to even start. Sagrada Familia will leave you standing there in awe for a few minutes. The bridge in Ronda will leave you scratching your head and wondering how. Segovia will leave you with a sore finger from taking so many pictures. The country is incredible whether you choose the countless sights in the big cities (Madrid and Barcelona) or the more authentic experience in smaller cities such as Ronda, Granada, and Malaga.
Summary - Incredible. Caitlin has always had glowing things to say about Spain and I couldn’t agree more. There are so many different places to go and things to see. The culture is so laid back that you just feel like everyone else is also on vacation with you.
Suggestions - Do it all! Ok, maybe that’s not realistic but seriously try and fit a few different experiences into one trip. Maybe fly into Barcelona and admire Gaudi’s work but then make your way down the coast to some smaller cities. And you know what makes this possible? Renting a car.
See how we did with spending and saving in Spain.
