Highlights - Bangkok’s food scene is top notch. It’s so damn delicious and so affordable. The elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai was incredible and one of those activities that you just have to ignore the price and tag and sign up because it will be worth it.
Summary - This will probably be somewhere we return again. We just loved the energy in Bangkok, the food was to die for, and the prices are ridiculous. The north often gets ignored in favor of the south but Chiang Mai was a pleasant surprise. It’s a very modern city that definitely caters to tourism.
Suggestions - Go through the Elephant Nature Park and just do a half day because that’s plenty. Don’t do the walks or take a bath with them because it’s awkward. Stay where the action is happening in Bangkok even if it’s a little more expensive. You will save money in other ways.
We were in the awesome and bustling city of Bangkok for 1 week. See what we did, where we went, and what we ate during our visit.
