Highlights - Staying with friends was definitely a highlight for us because we got to really feel like locals for a week. The Van Gogh museum is one of the better art museums we’ve ever been to. Spending almost an entire afternoon in Vondel Park was so refreshing and fun.

Summary - We were so spoiled in Amsterdam it’s not even fair. We were able to stay in an incredible part of the city, eat home cooked meals when we wanted, take a private tour of the Van Gogh museum, and that in turn allowed us to spend more money in the city. Amsterdam is the cleanest city we’ve been to and everyone just seems so damn happy! It’s infectious.

Suggestions - Walk. Walk. Walk. This city is so walk-able and usually when we walk we are doing it with a plan. Amsterdam is different. You will find yourself walking for the sake of walking.
